S1, E21: Finding a Hidden Gem at Royal Troon in Scotland

2/24/25

🌎 Locations: 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Troon, Scotland

Length: 8 minutes, 53 seconds

"This is why I travel around the world!"

Nick takes a little risk into the unknown and sets out for a day trip from Glasgow to the oceanside town of Troon. He knew there was a golf course, but what he discovered while visiting this little town is something he will never forget.

Royal Troon is a historic gold course on the coast of Scotland—one of the oldest courses in the world, in the land where the sport was born, centuries ago. It was also the host of the 2024 Open golf tournament where the world's greatest golfers came to compete in one of the four major golf championships.

Nick takes you onto the course where you can see the remnants of the tournament as well as feel his energy and passion for exploration and discovery. This episode illustrates the power of getting outside your normal routine and allowing the world to show you its beauty.

What does this have to do with entrepreneurship or greatness? You'll have to watch and see! But understand this - anything GREAT takes time, effort, and commitment.
