Please introduce yourself
I'm Ismael Villanueva, the CEO of Miss Berni, a startup dedicated to improving the lives of teachers worldwide by offering them enhanced career opportunities. With a background in architecture and a Master's degree in sustainability, I've always been driven to create a positive impact on the world. Today, my focus is on education and transforming lives. Through Miss Berni, I'm working towards a brighter future by empowering educators and making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
Why did you choose this path of creating your own company?
As an entrepreneur, I chose the path of creating my own company, Miss Berni, because I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the world. My background as an architect and my Master's degree in sustainability instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility towards the environment and society.

Please describe the company you are currently building and why
Miss Berni is a “Head Hunter” who recruits Latin American teachers for schools in the United States. Our purpose is to transform the lives of Latin American teachers through better job opportunities.
What is your vision? Go out 5 years, what does the world look like with your product or service in it?
We want to be the LinkedIn for the world of education, a community platform where teachers improve in all aspects of their lives, and barriers to teaching and learning are broken down.
What ONE thing do you need help with the most, and what do you want to ask from the Founders Live community?
Growth!
Identify three qualities that when combined make a great founder.
If you could go back to the beginning and talk to your “rookie founder” self, what would say? What areas do find most challenging?
I would tell them to think it over five times because once you take on the challenge, you must be willing to go down with the ship. The journey is steep, but each victory fills the soul with joy and energy.
