Welcome, Cambridge, UK!
We successfully launched Cambridge this past week to great response by attendees and presenters.
Thanks to city leader, James Foster, for attention to the details that create the true Founders Live experience for all!
One awesome highlight to preview the enthusiasm and top form of the crowd is a poem from a post by Dave Hailey:
Note: LinkedIn doesn’t create embed code for posts with multiple pictures, which is the case with most of these, so we took screenshots and linked directly to the original creators so you can Like/Comment/Follow in support.
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of hosting the first @founders_live to take place in Cambridge, which took place in @MillsandReeve's brilliant offices. This kickstarted with a really interesting opening discussion with Jack Waley-Cohen from @what3words and @QuizQuizQuiz. pic.twitter.com/3txuzus2VJ

Then onto the pitches. We've all been to pitch events and know what to expect, right? Not always, with @founders_live there's a catch, the 5 presenters only had 99(!) seconds to pitch. Despite the lack of time, all of them did an amazing job. So to shout each of these out:

In all honestly, it might sound cliché but all of the pitchers were excellent and any of them could have won. In the end, the audience voted on Oli Hilbourne from @outfieldtech as the winner of our first @founders_live in Cambridge! pic.twitter.com/GTEt54hSwg
