3 Big Takeaways from Founders Live Prime Time 2022
Last week we held Founders Live Prime Time 2022, our global celebration for entrepreneurial creativity and inspiration. It was a great week with thousands of attendees, votes, and livestream audience.
Entering the US-based holiday week of Thanksgiving, I’d like to share a few insights and takeaways from the Prime Time 2022 experience.

2. Founders Live is definitely changing the world
Not in the way you think. I am not necessarily referring to Founders Live making an impact and such, which I know we do. But I am referring to all the incredible entrepreneurs and socially/culturally important startups that end up pitching at our events. As a collective whole, it’s truly inspiring to see so many purposeful entrepreneurs and startups that emerge in the Founders Live ecosystem.
We create the environment and space for these awesome founders to shine, and we are continually in awe of the creative energy (and world changing - world improving concepts) that surfaces from all corners of the world.
At times, these startups may not come across as the unicorn type companies (cue the investor question: how this will be a Billion Dollar exit?) but in reality, they are the ideas and business the PEOPLE WANT and concepts that NEED TO BE in the world to solve the challenges we face as a society. Trust me, you don’t have to create a “unicorn” to impact and influence the world, and these startups are/will.
As we continue to expand into all nooks and crevices of the world, we only see more and more of these awesome founders and startups on our stages.
3. Opening the Door to Diversity
I always say “great things always come from Founders Live events”. You never know who is watching or who is in the audience who can help you. Great things did come from Prime Time 2022 - and great things will continue to happen due to the connections and activity from last week. The doors that were opened this week will bear fruit for many years to come.
One thing that struck me as I looked at all the Finalists and speakers throughout the week was the dense and deep diversity. Of the twenty Prime Time finalists, 12 were male and 8 were female, a much closer gender balance than most industry events. Of the thirteen Prime Time speakers during the daily talks, 6 were male and 7 were female. Also to note, thirteen countries were represented in the Pitch Competitions. We are tremendously proud of our community holding the importance of a strongly balanced diversity of talent and creativity.
I am sure we’ll cover even more of our insights and inspiration that came from Prime Time 2022 in the near future, but here’s some info and outlay of the week.
