We bring you additional coverage of these finalists through a series of posts in which we ask about their entrepreneurial journey, as well as what they are building and why.

Please introduce yourself.
My name is Ugochinyere Onyewuenyi and my startup is called SportsReels, from Lagos, Nigeria.

I am a Product Manager and Tech-Preneur, passionate about products, data, and Web 3. I enjoy Improving processes that automate challenges.

How did you discover Founders Live?
I saw it online, searching for accelerators to reach out to global investors.

Why do you feel others will benefit from Founders Live as well?
It’s a global platform that provides promotion to a global audience.

As an entrepreneur, why did you choose this path of creating your own company?
I used to be a sports person, I played basketball. Hence, not being able to play professionally was caused by technological gap and access to the global audience for sports players. When I started my tech career I promised to create a platform for sports players to show off their content to be seen and discovered.

You've made it to Founders Live Prime Time! What do you want to get out of this experience?
To be honest, I hope to be discovered, Just like the athletes on SportsReels, The platform needs to be seen by investors who can improve the product to achieve the goal of a unified data driven content and performance company.

Please describe the company or project are you currently building? Why are you building it?
SportsReels is an AI-driven video optimization and performance analysis coach for athletes to improve their play while showcasing and monetizing their data backed content to their audience.

What is your vision? Go out 5 years, what does the world look like with your product or service in it?
In 5 years, content should be tradable as a fan engagement system, backed by data-driven content of athletes across various sports in order to make more strategic decisions.

What ONE thing do you need help with the most, and what do you want to ask from the Founders Live community?
The platform needs funding and network. We need funding for further development of the AI-based model for coaching and data driven content and marketing, spreading the platform to other developing countries, For the network we need access to global partners within the sports industry, We will love investors and network within the Founders Live community to come and be a part of our growing future potential startups.

If you could go back to the beginning and talk to your “rookie founder” self, what would you say?
Take it easy, you got this. Just Build and Believe, it will work out.
